On the initiative of the Department of UIs for North Kazakhstan region, an "open day" was organized for relatives of convicts in institution No. 48. It should be noted that this event is held for the third time since the beginning of the year, the purpose of which is to maintain socially useful contacts with relatives and ensure optimal socialization of convicts in society.
The meeting with the convicts was attended by 55 relatives not only from our region, but also from other regions of the Republic. During the event, a tour of the institution was held for the guests. As part of the close cooperation of the Department of UIs with the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, the head of the Republican Association of Tajiks in North Kazakhstan region U. Rajabov and other representatives of the organization of the charity event were invited as guests to the event.
On behalf of the Association, a national dish of Tajik khilk — pilaf and other dishes-was prepared for guests and convicts. The main purpose of the campaign is to remind people serving sentences about home comfort, support national traditions and customs, as well as friendly relations with all peoples of Kazakhstan. Such events are positive for the psychoemotional state of convicts
not only affects, but also motivates them to achieve certain achievements in their lives.
"We are happy to see real emotions not only from the eyes of mothers, fathers, women and children, but also from convicted people who know the value of the family. We believe that such activities play an important role in the further adaptation of prisoners to society. I think that each of them understands that the main value is our family," said U. Rajabov, head of the Republican Association of Tajiks. Relatives of the convicts, in turn, sincerely thanked the guests and employees of the administration of the institution for the opportunity to visit the institution, communicate with relatives and see with their own eyes how their loved ones live in places of deprivation of liberty.
