Representatives of the prosecutor's Office arrived in the capital'S UIs on a working visit

In order to monitor compliance with the rights and conditions of detention of convicts held in UIs institution No. 2, First Deputy Prosecutor of Akmola region, senior adviser of Justice Vladimir Malakhov, deputy head of the 2nd Department of the prosecutor's Office of Akmola region, senior adviser of Justice Nurzhan Yerezhepov, head of the Department of Uis in Nur-Sultan, Colonel of Justice Daulet Rakhimbekov visited the residential premises and industrial premises of the institution. During the visit, the institution's communication facilities and video surveillance systems were presented.
According to the head of the Department of Uis in Nur-Sultan, Colonel of Justice Daulet Rakhimbekov, "all closed premises of the institution will be equipped with video surveillance equipment, and the presence of "invisible zones" for high-quality monitoring of the behavior of convicts will be eliminated."
During the visit, work was carried out on reception of convicts in the institution with personal questions. Employees of the prosecutor's office paid special attention to the rights of prisoners in the institution, compliance with the Convention Against Torture and the inadmissibility of other forms of cruelty and humiliation of human dignity.
As a result of the visit, no complaints were received from convicted persons in the institution in connection with the violation of their rights and legitimate interests.
