The convicts played basketball with professional athletes

In Almaty and Zhetysu regions, convicts serving their sentences in the institution No. 12 of the DUIs played basketball with professional athletes.
In Almaty and Zhetysu regions, a mini-basketball tournament dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the institution No. 12 under the jurisdiction of the DUIs.
The competition was attended by teams of convicts, basketball players from Konaev, as well as professional athletes Damir Amanzholov, Artem Reznikov, Sagyn Kazbek, Mirat Mussabayev and Zhasulan Erlanovich.
"Before that, we visited this institution and conducted educational work. Everyone makes mistakes, and every test must be passed with dignity. The most important thing is not to lose humanity,- said Damir Amanzholov, a member of the council on youth policy under the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
At the end of the tournament, the winners were awarded with medals, certificates and prizes.
