Police officers visited Kokshetau pre-trial detention center

Employees of the patrol police battalion of Kokshetau visited the Akmola pre-trial detention center. Police officers were introduced to the list of prohibited items in UIs institutions, as well as warned about responsibility for bringing prohibited items to the territory of pre-trial detention centers.
First, Deputy Head of the institution Zhambyl Madiyev familiarized his colleagues with the specifics of the activities of pre-trial detention centers and gave instructions on the rules of visits. The participants of the unusual tour visited the cells for the detention of suspects and accused persons, got acquainted with the conditions of detention of arrested persons and the material and household equipment of cell detention.
Employees of the police battalion were shown the procedure for removing investigative prisoners from the cell, distributing food, as well as monitoring the place where the investigation is being conducted through a video surveillance system, and releasing the video to the duty station of the institution.
– I have only recently joined the service, I have never been to a pre-trial detention center, and I can say that this event was very impressive for me. Excursions should also be conducted for high school students and young people. I think that the voice of the locks and the image of the bars will be remembered for a long time, – one of the young police officers shared.
