The transfer of smartphones and drugs with the help of a drone to the institution of UIs of East Kazakhstan region was prevented

Having noticed the employees of the institution, the violators fled before they had time to take their apparatus.
A drone with smartphones and narcotic substances wrapped in tape was found by employees of the institution OV 156/20 of the Department of the Penal correction system of East Kazakhstan region during an operational event. Employees identified them thanks to operational information.
Violators hid in an abandoned building near the institution and were preparing to throw prohibited items on the territory of the institution with the help of equipment. However, the violators, who noticed the employees, did not have time to take their apparatus and fled.
"On this fact, an investigative and operational group of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Police Department was called. During the opening of the node, a drug-like substance was found, two smartphones and a drone with a control panel. An expert examination has been appointed, " said Saltanat Ozhikanova, official representative of the UIS Department for East Kazakhstan region.
