Experienced psychologist Ulpan Amanbayeva met with the staff of the UIS. In his speech to the personnel of the institution EC-166/23 of the DUIs in Akmola region, he raised one of the most important and relevant topics "myths and misconceptions about suicide", focusing on the moments that reveal the main misconceptions about suicidal behavior.
-Prevention of suicidal behavior is one of the most pressing tasks facing law enforcement psychologists. To understand the problems, suffering and motivations of a person who has decided to commit suicide, to be able to provide him with real help, to prevent suicide, you need to know the theory, have specific psychodiagnostic means, the psychologist said.

At the end of the meeting, the psychologist gave recommendations to identify the characteristic features of the behavior of people who have decided to commit suicide. In addition, the audience was introduced to the methods of diagnosing signs of suicidal risk and the principles of providing psychological assistance.
