New rules for social support of registered citizens are being implemented

The Probation Service of the ESIL District of the DUIs in the city of Nur-Sultan has convicted persons who have been transferred to a more lenient form of punishment in the form of restriction of Liberty.
By the decision of the maslikhat of Astana dated December 12, 2017, "rules for providing social assistance, setting its size and determining the list of certain categories of needy citizens of Nur-Sultan" were introduced, which include persons released from places of deprivation of liberty to recipients entitled to receive social assistance.
Thus, the Probation Service of the ESIL District of the DUIs in Nur-Sultan sent this category of convicts to the Department of employment and social protection of the city of Nur-Sultan to receive social assistance.
Of these, 4 convicts have been paid social assistance in the amount of 15 monthly calculation indices.
Such social assistance helps to adapt to society in the first days after release from places of deprivation of liberty.
