In the pre-trial detention center of the DUIs of the West Kazakhstan region, the transfer of Tramadol hidden in the soles of shoes was prevented

At the reception of the regime Department in the institution RU-170/1 of the UIS Department of the West Kazakhstan region, Uldai Batyrkhanovna during the inspection of the message received to the investigating-arrested E, a hidden substance of white color was found in the soles of rubber slippers, similar to substances approved as narcotic or psychotropic substances.
- According to preliminary data, the seized substance is Tramadol. An investigative and operational group was called, after which an act of receiving prohibited items was drawn up, – said the head of the Department of regime and security of the institution K. Kurmanov.
Currently, an official investigation is being conducted on this fact. It should also be noted that for this administrative offense, liability under Part 1 of Article 481 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, that is, to persons held in institutions of the Penal correction system, special institutions, the transfer of alcoholic beverages, medicines and other narcotic substances, money, food products, medical devices from inspection or attempt to transfer in any way is provided. We remind you that in case of confiscation of items and other items prohibited for storage and use in these institutions, the item entails a fine in the amount of 10 monthly calculation indices, and in case of transfer of items similar to narcotic drugs, it may be brought to criminal responsibility provided for in the relevant part of Article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
