UIs employees identified 7 weapons depots in Almaty

The operational services of the Department of the Penal correction system of Almaty and its subordinate institutions are actively involved in the work to identify the organizers of mass riots and perpetrators of crimes, illegal arms trafficking, which took place in January of this year in Almaty.
According to the operational service of the pre-trial detention center in Almaty, employees of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan detained a suspect who took an active part in the January massacre and robbed weapons from a weapons store in the city "Alpamys".
Fire weapons of the boar brand were seized from the house where the suspect A., who confessed to looting weapons during the riots, lived.
Since the beginning of the year, according to the operational service of the Department of the Penal correction system in Almaty, 7 weapons depots have been identified in the territory of Almaty, 25 firearms, 31 grenades, 1259 cartridges of various calibers, special equipment and uniforms of police officers and soldiers have been seized.
