Specialists of the department of educational and socio-psychological work among the convicts of the institution of the penal institution in Nur-Sultan conducted film therapy with a special contingent

Psychologists conducted kinotherapy training with convicts in the institution EC-166/10 of the DUIs of Nur-Sultan. Many convicts, especially those who are on the "left side of the fence" for the first time, are newly adapted. Convicted persons have personal strong emotions, and the only way to boldly overcome their emotions and difficult situations in various ways, including interesting films, is to show Good Films.
"Special attention is paid to the selection of films. I will preview the film, analyze it, and make a lesson program," says Zaure Musina, a psychologist at the EC — 166/10 institution.
- The film is selected based on the tasks set, including historical and psychological ones. They are aimed at increasing the patriotic, spiritual, moral, intellectual and cultural potential of a person.
At the screening, the convicts were shown the film "I didn't play in the lizard". In the center of the story, two patients with incurable cancer prepare a written list of all wishes related to the fulfillment of their dreams before they die. After watching the film, the convicts shared their impressions and discussed the most interesting moments of the film.
Such therapy has given an optimal effect among convicts, and has also become very popular. Kinotherapy, as one of the psychocorrective methods, has a positive effect on the correction of convicts. Such classes contribute to the development and correction of personal characteristics, contribute to the formation of objective qualities of convicts and, most importantly, easier adaptation to society after release, - said the head of the institution Nurgali Azhikhanov.
