Since May of this year, women convicted in the institution EC-164/6 of the Department of the Penal correction system for North Kazakhstan region have been using a special Instagram.

– I wanted to introduce some innovations in the life of the squad in my name, but I did not know how to do it. I created the CrossFit health club. Then I came up with the idea of creating an unusual newspaper. This is how the idea for Instagram came about. I began to remember the design of this social network, what it looks like. The convicted women in the squad supported my idea and helped. We all made Insta-newspaper. The newspaper has 6 headings:" health tips"," tips on how to manage the Garden"," Beauty Tips"," special reminders","memos". And a special Summer category is called" Strawberry", where there are options for budget and affordable masks for the face, neck, and hands. The convicted women and I really liked this idea, the plan is to create another newspaper, which should also be interesting. When I approach the Insta-newspaper to update the information, a lot of people come and expect interesting and unusual news each time. They do” like "by drawing hearts," says the condemned Ayman.
According to the woman, the newspaper has a headline "book exchange". Convicts can come to him and tell him the name and author of the book, leave their impressions and opinions. Also, news for Insta-newspaper is taken from newspapers and magazines. The main ones are the magazines" Lisa"," invented stories"," Korean cosmetics"," Avon".
Many convicted women are given magazines by their relatives, they give them to me after reading them, I choose the most interesting ones. Many offers are received from convicted women. As noted by the UIS staff, in educational work with convicted women, much attention is paid to their social development.
- Since 2021, the Literary Club "Ellegia" has been operating in the women's colony of Petropavlovsk. It gathers more and more participants every day, and a health club "CrossFit" is also organized, which is attended by a large number of young people. After graduating from college, various competitions are held with convicts in the specialties "landscape design" and "hairdressing", landscaping, planting flowers, landscaping of the territory of the institution and haircuts, facial care. This work gives positive results. The creation of the Instagram newspaper has a positive impact on convicts and has a great influence on the consolidation of the squad, – said Oksana Vyshar, head of the Department of educational and social and psychological work among convicts of the EU-164/6 institution of the DUIs in North Kazakhstan region.
