Sale of prohibited items to UIs institution of North Kazakhstan region blocked

The personnel of the institution EC-164/8 of the Department of the Penal correction system for North Kazakhstan region stopped attempts to throw prohibited items. With the help of video cameras located on the territory of the institution, a citizen named B. was detained.
Employees called an operational and investigative team to the scene of the incident, and later seized two mobile phones with SIM cards installed, and found out that the items were intended for convicts of this institution.
A citizen named B. was found guilty by the Ayyrtau District Court of North Kazakhstan region for committing an administrative offense provided for in Part 1 of Article 481 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "transfer of prohibited items, items and objects to persons held in institutions of the Penal correction system, special institutions".
- This is the second fact of attempts to send prohibited items to the territory of institutions of North Kazakhstan region since the beginning of the year. In order to prevent such an offense, we inform you that in case of sending prohibited items to the territory of the institution, citizens are brought to administrative responsibility under Article 481 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which entails a fine of 10 monthly calculation indices with a warning or confiscation of the item that was the instrument or object of committing an administrative offense,-said R.
