A resident of Shymkent tried to bribe an employee of the pre-trial detention center in the amount of 1 million tenge to get an advantage over his brother, who is under investigation.
The incident occurred in the mixed Security Institution of the Department of the Penal correction system of Turkestan region and the city of Shymkent.
A 49-year-old man tried to bribe an employee of the pre-trial detention center. The purpose of the suspect was to create certain privileges for his relative.
"An employee of the pre-trial detention center, who applied to the Department of self-Security, said that an individual offered a bribe in the amount of 1 million tenge. The servant immediately reported this to the management and the own security department. Employees of the Shymkent City Police Department and operatives of the territorial Department of the UIS together took a number of appropriate measures and prevented counteraction," said the head of the Regional Department of the UIS, Colonel of Justice Denizzhan Zhanibekov.
