Hashish in buns was tried to be transferred to the Shymkent colony

In the institution of medium security ICH-167/3 of the Department of the Penitentiary System in the city of Shymkent and Turkestan region, young people resorted to an attempt to transfer drugs to a convict.

To do this, they used buns, in which bundles with a prohibited substance were hidden. As it turned out later, the "deliverers" of drugs received the parcel from the relatives of the convict. During the operational activities, it became known that the buns with prohibited stuffing were prepared by the prisoner's wife.

All persons involved in the attempt to transfer drugs to the institution have now been detained. According to the results of the examination, the filling was hashish.

Recall that for the suppression of Article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Illegal manufacture, processing, acquisition, storage, transportation for sale, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues", a penalty of imprisonment for a period of 5 to 10 years with confiscation of property is provided.
