Books can convey not only feelings, but also thoughts, taste and aroma, – says Lyudmila Alexandrovna, handing over the home library to an employee of the institution.
It's not easy to buy a good book right now. We have preserved them, because reading books cannot be compared with modern means of transmitting information, – says Antonina Sergeevna, a friend of our heroine.
Lyudmila Alexandrovna, despite her age, is a volunteer of the Public Foundation “mother and child” in Kokshetau, as well as worked all her life as an accountant at a shoe factory.
– The love of books began at school. Russian classical literature contains a variety of emotions, notes of love and war, loyalty and friendship. I still remember how I bought these books. Now I am young, my vision has deteriorated, and I rarely read books. I can't throw away books. I recently learned that I can give books to the institution, and I want to give you all the literature. I hope that the convicts will spend their time optimally, and the books will help them recover, – the pensioner shared.
