The library fund of the Nur-Sultan colony has been replenished with 3000 books

Today, the library fund of the colony of the city Department of Uis has about 24 thousand books, thanks to the Center for manuscripts and rare books, this number has been growing since the beginning of the year.
Thus, representatives of the center handed over 500 books in March, and recently another 3000.
"It's mostly fiction, religious books, magazines, periodicals. Convicts can read in the Reading Room of the library and take books with them to the hostel of the detachment, – the DUIs noted.
Books have a very positive effect on convicts, help to arouse their interest in the best works of domestic and foreign literature, determine the guidelines for a law-abiding life. The administration of the institution always supports reading, because reading helps to develop the individual, reduce negative thoughts, and rethink life positions.
- We are very grateful to the Center for organizing rare manuscripts and books of Nur-Sultan. On behalf of all convicted readers, I would like to thank the director of this center Zhandos Boldykov for creating conditions for obtaining useful information and providing an opportunity for convicts to receive self-education, – explained Acting Deputy Head of the Department Agybay Mukhin.
