Employees of the DIS for East Kazakhstan region have once again become blood donors

By tradition, several times a year, a mobile blood transfusion station arrives at the Department of the UIS in East Kazakhstan region. This is done so that employees of the penitentiary system, without interrupting their main service, could do a useful and necessary thing – replenish the blood bank that sick people need.
According to the organizers, the goal of the two-week donation campaign is to replenish the stock of components for 68 liters of blood.
From morning until lunch, the mobile station was located near the regional Department of the UIS. Employees of the penitentiary system and everyone could donate blood.
- Employees of the penitentiary system regularly undergo medical examinations and have good physical fitness, so doctors are happy to see them in the ranks of volunteers. Our employees actively participate in the donor movement, because the formation of a responsible attitude to blood donation as a norm of life, - said Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Medicine for East Kazakhstan Region Galymzhan Baltabayev.
Such actions have been taking place for nine years. And the number of donors is only growing every year. Employees of the probation service of Ust-Kamenogorsk have shown particular activity and believe that their small contribution to the common cause may save someone's life.
After the blood collection, the doctors thanked the donors for their active initiative. On the first day alone, more than 30 employees of the DIS in East Kazakhstan Region took part in the action.
