Employees of the UIS in Akmola region congratulated a nurse on the holiday who saved many Afghan soldiers from death

Since August 2014, nurse Elena Biryukova has been working in the EC-166/4 Institution of the Akmola region.
In July 1986, she voluntarily went to work at the Infectious diseases hospital of the reception and diagnostic department of Kabul as part of a limited contingent of Soviet troops in the Republic of Afghanistan. It's hard to say what they thought when the young nurses volunteered for the war.
- "Yes, it was not easy, day and night we worked with the wounded, helped in operations, returned our guys to the ranks," recalls military nurse Biryukova
At the request of her young colleagues, Elena shared her memories of those days, and silence reigned in the hall for a few minutes. Telling a military nurse about the Afghan war was not easy.
– On behalf of Elena Bryukova, we pay great respect to the soldiers, sergeants, officers who selflessly served the Motherland, express sincere gratitude to the soldiers, wish internationalists who completed a peacekeeping mission on the territory of other states, veterans of military operations good health, peace, confidence in the future, good luck and prosperity, - said the deputy head of the colony Zhenis Ibrayev.
