Today, on December 14, Prosecutor General Zhakyp Asanov received 18 applicants at a personal reception, including rysmanova's sister Maira – rysmanova Denmark.

The Prosecutor General expressed his condolences to rysmanova's sister in connection with the untimely loss of a loved one, and also took care to assist the family in organizing the funeral.

The appeal of rysmanova Mayra on the issue of disagreement with the conviction of her son - Akhmetov E. was received by the Prosecutor General's office on November 28, 2016.

To check the arguments of the appeal, a criminal case was requested from the court.

Akhmetov E. was sentenced by the Shu district court on June 15, 2015 to 4.5 years in prison for illegal drug possession on a particularly large scale.

The sentence was left unchanged by the Zhambyl regional court of appeal. The verdict has not been appealed to the Supreme Court.

It should be noted that rysmanova's arguments about the illegal conviction of her son are checked during the investigation of other 7 criminal cases initiated against regional police officers.

According to the results of the investigation, an employee of the DIA of the region Zhideshev, accused of beating and causing harm to Akhmetov E., was convicted by the court of Taraz. The sentence did not enter into force.

Review of the case on appeal is scheduled for December 20 this year.

Considering the frequent complaints of residents of Zhambyl region on actions of employees of DIA of area, on behalf of the attorney General created an Interdepartmental group to check of decisions on criminal cases outside the specified area. The group will be headed by Deputy Prosecutor General Kenenbayev E. A.
