About the solemn meeting at the Academy in honor of the Independence anniversary (Astana, December 15, 2016)

Today, the Academy of law enforcement agencies under the Prosecutor General's office held a solemn meeting dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Congratulating the team on a significant event, the rector of the Academy Ulan Baizhanov noted the importance of gaining sovereignty for the development of the country, the main milestones in the formation of a young state.

The years of formation at the turn of the Millennium will go down in the modern history of Kazakhstan as a time of deep transformations and reforms aimed at the progressive development of the economy, social, cultural and political system. And in this process, the leading role is assigned to the Prosecutor's office, which is charged with further improving law enforcement, creating a legal system that meets the expectations of society.

The most important stage in the implementation of this task was the creation Of the Academy of law enforcement agencies, designed to become a leading scientific and educational institution that provides training for lawyers of the new formation.

Today, the Academy's portfolio includes more than a dozen projects and research topics, the successful implementation of which is aimed at the main thing - support and assistance in the progressive development of the country in the light of the implementation of the tasks set by the Head of state, the rector stressed.

On the eve of the holiday, a number of employees who distinguished themselves by impeccable service and exemplary performance of their duties were awarded commemorative medals.

After the awards ceremony, there was a traditional solemn dedication to undergraduates and doctoral students of the 1st year. Then a concert was held, prepared by students of the 1st and 2nd courses of the Academy.
