The Prosecutor General's office held a solemn meeting dedicated to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Opening the anniversary event, first Deputy Prosecutor General Johan Merkel noted the importance of gaining sovereignty for Kazakhstan, the country's achievements over the years of Independence, the role of the first President-Leader of the nation in the formation of Kazakhstan's statehood, the increased social and political significance of the Prosecutor's office as one of the main legal institutions of the state.

In honor of the celebration of this significant date, a number of employees of the Prosecutor's office were awarded high state awards for exemplary performance of military and service duties, courage and selflessness shown in ensuring law and order, strengthening national security and defense capabilities. They were handed over.

Johan Merkel congratulated his colleagues on the upcoming holiday-independence Day, wished everyone peace and prosperity, and further success in fulfilling the important tasks of ensuring law and order in the country.

During the event, the results of the competition "the Best Prosecutor's office of the region for the maintenance of subordinate buildings", as well as 25 events held with the participation of children of the Prosecutor's office employees, were announced.

Since the beginning of the year, the Prosecutor General's office has organized a number of sports, charity events, children's and other competitions dedicated to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the end of the solemn meeting, a short film dedicated to the national holiday was shown.
