Information on the death of an investigative prisoner in Almaty

Today, on April 29, this year at 08.00 am in the pre-trial detention center in Almaty, investigative-arrested Kibayev Bekbol Mukhamedovich was found by cellmates in the bathroom with cuts in the forearm of the left hand.

Kabaev was detained and placed to a remand prison on suspicion in participation in mass riots in Kordai district of Zhambyl region.

Upon his death, special prosecutors in Almaty are conducting a pre-trial investigation.
