Press release on awarding the winners of competitions among legal scientists (Astana, December 23, 2016)
Today, a solemn event dedicated to awarding the winners of the first International competition "the Best University publication in the field of law enforcement"was held.
The competition was organized by the Academy of law enforcement agencies under the Prosecutor General's office in conjunction with the Library of the First President–Leader of the Nation in order to increase interest in printed publications of domestic and foreign authors in the law enforcement industry, strengthen cross-cultural cooperation and scientific ties.
The rector of the Academy Ulan Baizhanov and the Deputy Director of the Library Timur Shaimergenov made welcoming remarks. According to U. Baizhanov, the event is timed to the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence and the formation of the Prosecutor's office. The organizing Committee reviewed and evaluated about 300 educational and scientific publications received from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Russia, and determined the winners in 11 categories.
Thus, in the categories "Best publication in the field of prevention and forecasting of offenses" and "Best publication in the field of Prosecutor's supervision and compliance with the law", the winners were textbooks prepared by a group of scientists of the Academy of the Prosecutor General's office of the Russian Federation.
The best publication in the field of criminal policy was the textbook of representatives of the Kyrgyz national University named after Zh. Balasagyn.
The book by a group of researchers Of the Academy of law enforcement agencies under the Prosecutor General's office of the Republic of Kazakhstan won in the category "Best publication in the field of law enforcement cooperation".
The best publication on countering certain types of crimes was the monograph of representatives of the Chuvash state University named After I. N. Ulyanov, Russia.
Book a group of researchers of the Committee of criminal-Executive system, educational institutions of the MIA of the Republic of Kazakhstan, domestic and foreign scientists awarded in the nomination "Best publication in the penitentiary field".
In the categories "Best publication in the field of information security" and "the Best publication on the prevention of drug abuse and drug trafficking" noted textbook author Kazan law Institute of MIA of Russia.
The educational and practical manual of the Kazguu research group was awarded for the best publication on anti-corruption activities of the state.
In turn, the monograph of researchers of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan was recognized as the best publication devoted to the problems of criminal procedure, criminalistics and the theory of operational search activity, and the best publication in the field of countering administrative offenses was the textbook of representatives of the Arbitration court of the Ivanovo region of the Russian Federation.
The results of the annual interuniversity competition among higher education institutions–members of the Republican educational and methodological Association in the specialty "law Enforcement"were also announced. This competition is organized for the purpose of moral stimulation of the teaching staff, as well as improving the educational and methodological system of training and motivation of authors to prepare popular educational literature. The winners were awarded in the categories "Best textbook", "Best monograph", "Best associate Professor", "Best teacher"and" Best young scientist".
The winners were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
