Today, the head of the Prosecutor General's Office Murat Kozhamkulov met with students of the faculty of law at the al-Farabi Kazakh national University.

Welcoming the students and the management of the educational institution, M. Kozhamkulov stressed the historical significance of the sports events of the "Universiade – 2017" and the opportunity to feel the competitive spirit of the best sports students around the world. He thanked for organizing this meeting in his native walls, where he received his first knowledge of law.

"Many heads of law enforcement agencies, and not only – are graduates of our legendary law school. For example, during the years of independence, out of 8 public Prosecutors of Kazakhstan, six are graduates of KazGU. By the way, and the current Prosecutor General Asanov Zh. Kozhamkulov said.

During the meeting, the speaker told students about the creation of a "Pool of speakers" in the Prosecutor General's office, who have been trained in public speaking skills. Their main task is to communicate our goals and achievements to the public in a language that people understand. This is his first meeting as a representative of the speakers ' Pool.

He also focused on the main provisions of the President's Address and key tasks for the upcoming period. He also informed students about the priorities of the Kazakhstan Supervisory authority at the present stage, key tasks, new tools for selecting personnel, approaches to work, and the introduction of information technologies. A video clip was shown about the information capabilities of the Committee on legal statistics and special accounts under the Prosecutor General's office.

He announced the introduction of project management principles in the Prosecutor's office. Using this approach, a number of large-scale and important initiatives are being implemented on issues that are sensitive to citizens. All these measures are built for a single goal-the trust of citizens.

"We must make it clear to people that we are primarily a human rights body, not a punitive one. Then the attitude of people towards us – people in uniform-will change. To we must first earn the trust of our citizens. This is our main mission, " M. Kozhamkulov said.

He spoke in detail about the new personnel selection system, which is proving to be effective. Noted the results of the online survey: "Is it possible to get a job in the Prosecutor's office without connections?", where 7 thousand people or 93% of respondents answered: "No, it is impossible". That is why the project "to the Prosecutor's office – the best personnel"was launched.

He shared interesting stories from his student life and work. Sharing his thoughts and experience, M. Kozhamkulov advised young people to achieve their goals, develop themselves, be active and strive forward, not be afraid of difficulties.

At the end of his speech, he cited the statements of the famous writer Mark TWAIN that "in 20 Years you will regret more what you did not do than what you did.
