Today, an expanded operational meeting Of the Academy of law enforcement agencies under the Prosecutor General's office was held, where the results of 2016 were summed up.

During the discussion, the results of scientific and educational activities were analyzed, problematic issues were raised, and priority tasks for the future were identified.

As noted by the rector Ulan Baizhanov, last year was the year of formation of the Academy. The Foundation was laid for the effective implementation of the tasks assigned to the Academy, aimed at effective and efficient work. As part of the implementation of institutional reforms, structural transformations were carried out, the principles of project management, new approaches and progressive educational innovations were introduced into the practice of work. A system of regular training of law enforcement officers has been established.

The next message Of the Head of state became a logical continuation of the strategic goals laid down in the national Plan. One of the most important priorities of the President was to improve the quality of human capital. The main condition for its implementation is called a qualitative change in the education system.

Priority attention to education issues puts before The Academy has fundamentally new tasks. The main orientation of training programs should be aimed at the active introduction of IT knowledge into the educational process, the development of critical thinking abilities and skills of independent search for information, and receptivity to progressive innovations. An integral part of this work is the formation of an ethical image of a law enforcement officer, the upbringing of a harmoniously developed personality with high moral qualities. We have the resources and potential for this, said U. Baizhanov.

As a result of the meeting, the structural divisions were instructed to ensure proper implementation of the tasks set, take urgent organizational and practical measures to further improve the effectiveness of scientific and educational activities.

The successful implementation of President's instructions and targets set by the Attorney General, should be focused on the main thing – support and assist in the implementation of reforms in the interests of ensuring public safety, strengthening the rule of law, said the rector.
