On the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the formation of the bodies of the Committee for Legal Statistics and Special Accounts

April 21, 2017, the Committee on legal statistics and special records of General Prosecutor's office of Kazakhstan held a solemn event dedicated to the celebration of the 20th anniversary of formation of bodies of legal statistics and special records.

"These days, the bodies of legal statistics and special accounts of Kazakhstan celebrate their 20th anniversary. During this time, the legal statistical service of Kazakhstan has earned credibility in the professional community, has taken a worthy place in the system of public administration and today is the source of the most complete, objective information about the law and order in the country. Legal information and supervision are now interdependent elements. One is impossible without the other. The limits of supervision are determined based on system data. Without this, we will wander in the dark. Everything that has been developed in the Cpisu, plus modern methods of analysis that are now being introduced, will make the supervision point-based and effective. We will be able to identify and solve systemic problems in a timely manner," said Zhakip Asanov, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"I want to thank You for participating in this important event and congratulate my colleagues on the 20th anniversary of the legal statistics and special accounting bodies. Over the years, the Committee has done a lot of work and this was described in previous statements. Today, the Committee's systems have become a tool for law enforcement and other government agencies. There are good databases and various platforms on which we will continue to grow and implement new ideas and projects. I want to thank the previous managers for their work and resources, " commented Bagdat Musin, Chairman of the Committee on legal statistics and special accounts of the state Duma of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

To date, the Committee has identified three main tasks:

1. "digitalization of the processes of the law enforcement system and state bodies", that is, the introduction of electronic procedures that will not only eliminate paperwork, but also minimize falsification of information, as well as increase the speed of investigation of cases and, accordingly, reduce the risk of corruption.

2. "increasing the value of information" is the creation of an Analytical center, whose task will be to algorithmize processes, automate Analytics, link internal and external data, and thus issue criminal forecasts.

3. "we are getting closer to the people" is the creation Of a center for legal services and the implementation of the project "to the society of effective complaints", the main goal of which is to solve the problems of citizens and effectively consider their appeals.
