At the airports of the city of Astana, Almaty and Karaganda, Kazpost terminals operated to pay fines
June 21, 2017, Astana. The first terminals of Kazpost started to operate in the airports of Astana, Almaty and Karaganda. This client-oriented service was implemented on the initiative of the General Prosecutor’s Office in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, the National Security Committee, Kazpost JSC and the Republican Chamber of Private officers of the court.
If earlier Kazakhstan citizens flying abroad were removed from flights because of unpaid fines, thanks to this service, citizens had the opportunity, without contacting the officer of the court, to check and pay the arrears on the spot, and automatically obtain permission to leave the country.
Automatic cancellation of the ban on departure is valid only for bans issued after June 1, 2015. Until that date, the cancellation of restrictions will be made according to the old procedure (the provision of supporting documents on payment to the officer of the court).
The terminals are integrated with the database of the Ministry of Justice. Within 15 minutes, information about payment of arrears will be transferred to the database of this department and in about 30 minutes the restriction on leaving the country is lifted.
Also, to provide round-the-clock access for debt verification and payment through a payment card, the functionality is implemented at www.post.kz and via the mobile application.
This service allows you to pay debts for recovery in favor of individuals, legal entities and the state income (fines, state duty, penalties, etc.). At the same time, payment of arrears for periodic penalties (alimony, pensions, allowances) through the terminal is not possible.
The maximum amount of payment of a fine through the terminal is up to 2 million tenge. The commission for payment through the terminal is 1% of the debt, but not less than 100 tenge for each payment. If the amount of debt is equal to or exceeds 2 million tenge, a citizen can make payment in Kazpost branches.
Citizens, using their IIN, can check the availability of debt, temporary restrictions on travel outside the RK in Kazpost terminals, on the website www.adilet.gov.kz , on the post.kz portal. Consultation on the work of the service can be obtained by numbers: 8 (7172) 74-04-92, 68-13-99.
It will be noted that, in the near future such terminals will be operated at the airports of Aktau and Shymkent.
