Z.Assanov met with ex-Supreme Magistrate of England and Wales
Astana, 28 June 2017. Prosecutor General’s Office hosted a meeting between Prosecutor General Zhakyp Assanov and Lord Woolf, former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, an arbitrator and mediator of Blackstone Chambers group, expert of the Astana International Financial Centre (hereinafter AIFC), who discussed the creation and development of the Court and International Arbitration Centre (hereinafter IAC).
Тhe event was attended by Deputy Prosecutor General Andrey Kravchenko, Governor of AIFC Kairat Kelimbetov and CEO for AIFC Authority JSC Nurlan Kussainov.
Тhe parties discussed strengthening collaboration and contacts between the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Court and IAC of AIFC, as well as the possibility of signing a memorandum on cooperation.
Zhakyp Assanov thanked Lord Woolf for his visit and expressed confidence that this meeting will be an additional impetus to the advancement of relations.
