The Prosecutor General's office summed up the results of the work for the half year and presented the center for law enforcement services

July 21, 2017, Astana. The Prosecutor General's office summed up the results for the first half of 2017 and the strategic tasks set by the President in The national Plan "100 concrete steps" and the annual Address to the people of Kazakhstan.

Zh. Asanov noted that for the first time in 22 years, the article about the Prosecutor's office in the Constitution has changed, a new Law has been adopted. All this is aimed at strengthening the work to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, the interests of society, business and the state.

The tasks for the upcoming period are defined:

1. to Increase the attention of prosecutors to the criminal process for the qualitative implementation of the constitutional duty to carry out criminal prosecution on behalf of the state, including through strengthening the role of procedural prosecutors.

2. To continue the implementation of information systems e-criminal case, e-armdale, AIS "Satyle". This will improve the quality of proceedings in cases, reduce unnecessary paperwork, eliminate manipulation of case materials, reduce time at all stages, and eliminate procedural errors, both at the stage of conducting cases and at the stage of administration of justice.

3. Implement new approaches to dealing with citizens ' complaints, including opening law enforcement service Centers in the regions. The service approach to work with citizens will be provided by providing a wide range of free legal services by specialists (prosecutors, notaries, lawyers, mediator, psychologist, probation service, employees of the mayor's office) at special sites of the Prosecutor's office. This follows from the 100th step of the national Plan in terms of integrating legal services in one place.

On the same day, the Prosecutor General's office presented the center for law enforcement services (hereinafter - the Center).

The center is located in the building of the Prosecutor General's office on an area of about 1 thousand sq. m. and is a comfortable room equipped with modern engineering and technical equipment, an electronic queue system, a self-service sector "Connection Point", a waiting room, and other necessary infrastructure.

In this Center, the reception of citizens on legal issues will be carried out by experienced prosecutors. Legal service providers (lawyers, mediators, notaries, probation service, etc.) are involved in effective organization of consideration of appeals.

The main task of the Center is to promptly resolve complaints, increase the level of trust of citizens in law enforcement and government agencies, and eliminate ADM.barriers and bureaucracy.
