The Prosecutor General's office has repeatedly spoken about the illegal activities of the extremist organization "Democratic choice of Kazakhstan".

Its leader is Mukhtar Ablyazov, according to some, an ordinary intelligent person who is even trusted.

In the 90's, he started as a businessman, then headed the national company "KEGOC" and the Ministry of energy.

But then he began to steal from the people and the state, deceive business partners and even ordered their murder.

As energy Minister, he was found guilty of corruption and in 2002 was sentenced to 6 years in prison.

Later, he repented, asked for forgiveness from the country's leadership and people, and promised to improve. Believing this, he was pardoned and released.

However, he succumbed to greed and continued his criminal activities.

The court found that in 2005, he organized the contract murder of his business partner-the Chairman of BTA Bank Tatishev.

The perpetrator of the Tokmadi murder admitted that it was Ablyazov who ordered the murder of Tatishev during the hunt for 4 million us dollars, presenting it as an accident.

After the murder of Tatishev, Ablyazov became the head of the Bank, created a criminal group from among his close people and placed them in all the key positions of the Bank.

Ablyazov's crime patterns were different.

He issued billions of dollars in loans to his front companies using forged documents, then used them for personal needs.

For example, it issued 103 billion tenge to the Ramburs LLP controlled by itself, while the authorized capital of the LLP was only 92 thousand tenge.

Ablyazov used the stolen money to buy shares, luxury houses and apartments.

For his family, he bought 3 aircraft, which the Bank annually allocated 1 billion tenge for servicing.

When all Ablyazov's machinations came to light, in 2009 he fled to Russia, then to England, and in 2012 to France.

But before that, so that everything was comfortable for him abroad, he withdrew all the money in advance through offshore companies.

Offshore companies are countries where no one checks foreign companies, you can hide the real owners and not pay taxes. There are ideal conditions for laundering criminal money.

Using offshore countries, he stole 7.5 billion us dollars.

From Ablyazov's fraud affected not only the Kazakhstan people but also the French, Germans, Americans and others.

He was put on the wanted list in Russia and Ukraine, where he also stole billions.

Last year, a new York court found Ablyazov a criminal and rejected his arguments about political persecution.

The high court in London also found him a fraudster, recovered 4 billion us dollars, and sentenced him to 22 months in prison for false testimony.

The home office of England stripped him of his refugee status, so Ablyazov fled to France.

From this moment, he began to actively create an image of a political figure persecuted by the authorities of Kazakhstan, a fighter for democracy.

Tell me, could a person who is worried about their country, in an interview with the foreign newspaper "Evening Bishkek" recommend that the Kyrgyz people cut off the water supply to the southern regions of Kazakhstan, so that the population would suffer from the drought and begin to Express dissatisfaction.

Now numerous civil trials are being conducted against him.

More than 1 billion us dollars have already been returned.

There were 8 convictions in the criminal case. 42 persons were convicted.
