Another wanted person has been extradited to Kazakhstan

Nur-Sultan, on 3 December, 2021, Sergey Valerievich Shubin, born on 03.07.1967, an internationally wanted Russian citizen, was extradited from Germany by the officials of the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Shubin is suspected that under the guise of supplying German meat processing equipment, he fraudulently seized the funds of an entrepreneur from the Akmola region in the amount of 170,000 euros.

It is noted that the agreement with the German side on the extradition of Shubin, in the absence of an agreement between Kazakhstan and Germany on the extradition of wanted persons, was reached by the Prosecutor General's Office on the basis of the principle of reciprocity in force in international law.

Currently, Shubin S.V. is placed in the pre-trial detention facility of Nur-Sultan.
