On June 5, 2022, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the interdepartmental commission on questions of counteraction of illegal concentration of economic resources was established.
The objectives of this commission are the return to the Republic of Kazakhstan of financial resources illegally withdrawn from the country, as well as the identification of a monopoly (oligopolistic) concentration of economic resources obtained illegally, their return to the state.
The commission includes the first heads of law enforcement and special agencies, as well as a number of central executive bodies, the National Bank, the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market and the Sovereign Wealth Fund "Samruk-Kazyna".
