About making proposals on forming information about crime and evaluating the work of law enforcement agencies

Dear users, we invite you to discuss the formation of objective statistics on the state of crime in the country and the assessment of the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies.

The Committee on legal statistics and special records of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan collects proposals from citizens of the country, as well as organizations of all forms of ownership.

All received proposals will be discussed with the interested state bodies.

Questions to be disclosed when making offers:

1. What measures should be taken to improve the quality and objectivity of legal statistics?

2. What measures should be developed to improve the assessment of the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies?

(a) what criteria should be included that take into account quantitative indicators of crime control?

b) what quality indicators should be introduced to combat crime that characterize the level of public confidence and citizens ' sense of their own security.
