About holding a round table on the topic "Improvement of criminal law statistics»

Representatives of The services and Departments of the Prosecutor General's office, the Ministry of internal Affairs, the national security Committee, the anti-corruption Agency, the economic investigation Service, and the Department for ensuring the activity of courts under the Supreme Court took an active part in this event.

By videoconference, the meeting was attended by law enforcement and special agencies of regions and cities of national significance.

Proposals for the further development of legal statistics were discussed, such as the introduction of electronic input of individual procedural decisions in the investigation of criminal cases in paper format, digitalization of statements of criminal offenses, the creation of a unified information system for statistical accounting of criminal investigations and the results of judicial review.

These proposals help to strengthen departmental control over the course of criminal investigations, reduce the time spent by investigators on making procedural decisions, eliminate technical errors in the preparation of documents, and protect the constitutional rights of participants in criminal proceedings.

The Committee also demonstrated the implementation of the pilot project "Electronic search business".

As a result of the round table meeting, it was decided to regularly hold such events, which contribute to effective interagency cooperation and further improvement of statistics in the criminal and legal sphere.
