On the implementation of a pilot project on electronic entry of individual procedural decisions in criminal cases in the CPM of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

From February 24, 2020, the country's economic investigation agencies will launch a pilot project on electronic input of individual procedural decisions in the investigation of criminal cases in paper format.

Joint order on implementation of this pilot project was signed by the Chairpersons of the Committee on legal statistics and special records of the RK and the Committee on financial monitoring of MF RK on 18 February 2020.

The implementation of this project is the next stage in the transition to digitalization of the criminal process.

The project helps to strengthen departmental control over the course of criminal investigations, reduce the time for investigators to make procedural decisions, eliminate technical errors in the preparation of documents, manipulation and falsification, and protect the constitutional rights of participants in criminal proceedings.
