In the past year, the number of registered criminal offenses decreased by 7.6%.

Especially serious crimes decreased by 14% and serious crimes by 19.8%, their share of the total number was 7.3%.

There were 12.6% fewer murders, 14.2% fewer rapes, 6.7% fewer thefts, and 14.6% fewer robberies.

In the context of large cities, the highest crime rate per 100 thousand population is observed in Almaty, Aktobe, Kokshetau, Kostanay, Taldykorgan and Ust-Kamenogorsk. The lowest crime rate in Atyrau.

By type of crime, the highest murder rate is in Petropavlovsk, Kostanay and Aktobe, rape in Kostanay and Taldykorgan, hooliganism in Aktobe and Kyzylorda. The highest level of theft is observed in Almaty and Ust-Kamenogorsk, robberies in Kostanay and Aktobe.

For the convenience of citizens, the procedure for paying fines has been simplified. They can be paid at the place of registration of the Protocol, through banks or payment terminals. The system is integrated with 13 large second-tier banks, which allows you to automatically repay the fines paid.

Persons whose debts are detected when traveling abroad are given the opportunity to pay fines through Kazpost terminals directly at the airport. Payment information is immediately sent to the bailiff's system, and the flight restriction is lifted in a matter of minutes.

The right to apostille documents was transferred to the Committee and its territorial bodies. Now certificates of criminal record with apostille are issued for one application. The deadline has been reduced from 17 to 5 days.

These changes are aimed at improving the efficiency of public services and improving the convenience of citizens.
