On December 28 this year, the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the Prosecutor General's Office held a meeting in Shymkent on the issues of innovations made to the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) to coordinate key procedural decisions by prosecutors.
The event was attended online by representatives of law enforcement agencies, prosecutors of the city of Shymkent and Turkestan region.
The system "Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations" demonstrates the procedure for the work of criminal prosecution bodies and prosecutors in the new conditions.
Recall that in the Republic of Kazakhstan there is a process of improving the activities of law enforcement agencies to ensure the rights of citizens in criminal proceedings.
This work is being implemented as part of the execution of the order announced in the President's Address on the approval by prosecutors from 2021 of decisions affecting the constitutional rights of citizens.
Given these changes in the criminal procedure code, the approval in an electronic format, allowing immediate violations and eliminates the involvement of honest citizens in the criminal process.
Based on the results of the discussion, recommendations are given to ensure the completeness and reliability of information when making procedural decisions in a new format.
