We need to cooperate with Turkey

Akim of the region reminded that the turnover of Pavlodar and Turkey is US 64 mln and US 61 mln of them is the export of aluminum. Bulat Bakauov stressed that the region would like to cooperate with their Turkish colleagues in other spheres: industry, tourism, medicine and agriculture.

“Turkey exports a lot of lentils and, according to our information, annually 80000 tons are imported from Canada. As of quality, our lentils are not worse than the Canadian ones and our agricultural producers are ready to compete in this direction. We are ready to grow and deliver this culture to Turkey”, he said.

The guests from Turkey were offered to invest in the hotel 5* in Pavlodar. The investor will have land near the microdistrict “Dostyk”. It will be built in the near future. The Turkish part promised to consider all projects.

“We have concluded many business agreements with Arab, European and African countries. Now we want to cooperate with Central Asia, where Kazakhstan will be our main partner. We are ready to cooperate in all sectors – industry, construction and tourism. As for lentils, we are very interested in buying it, and after we come to Turkey we will consider this project. We will be able to support the increase in supplies of aluminum from Pavlodar to Turkey”, Nezaket Emine Atasoy noted.
