Fuel for the winter

When the plant reaches its designed capacity, it schedules to produce up to 30 th tons annually. The first winter diesel fuel will be produced in January. According to the representatives of “Alef Trade” LP, the fuel will not freeze even at 40 degrees below zero.

“We have already signed the agreements with the large enterprises of Pavlodar region. The most of our products are intended for Bozshakol GOK. In general, the demand for the Kazakhstan market in the Arctic diesel fuel in the winter season is about 120-130 th tons, so in the future we plan to increase the production up to 50 th tons of fuel per year”, chief engineer of the company Sergey Shevelev said.   

Akim of Pavlodar region visited the enterprise. Bulat Bakauov has noted that the low temperature can be in October and November, therefore, we need the winter diesel fuel.

“At 20 degrees below zero, diesel fuel with paraffin turns into jelly, so we need the arctic diesel fuel. It is the 7th project, introduced under FIID program this year. We invited the initiators of the project to the special economic zone “Pavlodar”, but they are going to develop according to their plan”, akim of the region said.

The producer of the winter diesel fuel has assured that its products will be cheaper by 5-10% than in the market today.
