Meeting with the deputies

Akim of Pavlodar region met with deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who arrived in the region on a working visit.

During the meeting, the deputies noted that Pavlodar region gained good rates of construction of housing and water supply network.

– As our Pavlodar colleagues say, now the problem is to find good constructors, although earlier they did not think about it, because there were not enough objects to be constructed, and there was a queue to get them, said Manap Kubenov, the Deputy of the Senat. – These days there are so many new objects are being constructed in the oblast, that there is even shortage of labor force. This is encouraging. In return, we are ready to provide aid and assistance to support the chosen direction of the region’s development.

In addition, the deputies informed that they had visited the construction of a new oncological health center with the capacity of 250 people. Bulat Bakauov told them that today there are certain issues about this object that need to be resolved.

– For the purpose of optimization the equipment, which costs 3.5 billion tenge, was removed from the project, – the head of the region addressed the mazhilismen and senators. – Today, the position of the Ministry of Health sounds as not to allocate funds from the budget, but to seek options for public-private partnership. I think that it needs deciding whether the public-private partnership is necessary in this case. Then there are the questions: how much time will we lose while we find a private trader, and will this project become more expensive for the budget within 6-7 years? These questions require interfering.

The Parliamentarians will stay in Pavlodar oblast until January, 12.
