According to the idea of the project initiators, the arena is designed for 2.5 thousand seats. The prospective sports venue will also provide a fitness room and a cafe for the convenience of visitors.
“We are intending not only to build but to get the object in trust management for five years, while a contract with Public Private Partnership is valid,” – said Zakirzhan Mamet-Aliyev, the Chief Operating Officer of “H+H Technika” LLP. – “In addition, on the basis of this arena, we plan to establish a children’s hockey academy. We have the opportunity to attract coaches from Europe.”
The private partner proposes the following financing mechanism: 70% of the costs will be incurred by the company, 30% will be borne by the state partner. The total cost of the project is about 4 billion tenge.
“We need to deal with issues of public-private partnership development,” – Bulat Bakauov said. -“Tentatively we are ready, but we need to study legal issues and understand what problems we may face. And, of course, we must see the presentation of the project, and know all the details.”

The parties agreed to hold another working meeting. By that time, they will consider another option: the construction of an ice arena without seats, a fitness room and a cafe. Such project will cost about 1.5 billion tenge.
