The Road to Bayanaul

Yermurat Nurkhanov, the head of the oblast Department of passenger transport and highways, reported on road construction in 2018 in Pavlodar oblast at the meeting in the akimat. According to him, about 14.5 billion tenge was allocated for repair and maintenance of roads in the oblast.

– “78% of the roads in Pavlodar oblast are in a satisfactory condition,” said Yermurat Nurkhanov. – “This year it is planned to bring this figure to 80%.”

As the akim of Pavlodar oblast said, while the construction of roads is conducted, it is necessary to keep in proper condition the existing highways and roads. This should be done by the transport inspection.

“Three vehicles had been purchased for the transport inspection so that the specialists could monitor the overload on the roads,” Bulat Bakauov said. – “This year we plan to repair the road to Bayanaul: 175 kilometers at once in one year! To be broken down next year? We need strict control, we must save the roads!”

It was reported at the meeting that they will start using recycling this year during the improvement of the roads. The road sectios in Kachiry, Bayanaul and Uspenka districts will be repaired by using the recycling method.
