The Head of “Samruk-Kazyna” Payed a Working Visit to Pavlodar Oblast

At the thermoelectric power station in Ekibastuz, the head of «Samruk-Kazyna» was told about the progress of long-term projects: the restoration of power unit No. 1, settled until 2024, and the reconstructon and modernization of the fuel supply, which had been planned to be completed in 2021.

Meanwhile, Pavlodar petrochemical plant informed about the completed modernization with an investment of 180 billion KZT, which allowed to increase the productivity of processing of crude oil, and to bring the quality of produced fuel to K-4 (gasoline) and K-5 (diesel) standards. The chairman of the National Welfare Fund got acquainted with the work of the enterprise and visited new installations.

On the territory of «Pavlodar» SEZ Akhmetzhan Yessimov was reported about the investment attractiveness of the special zone where potential residents receive serious tax breaks. In addition, the guest visited «Agrokhimprogress» LLP, which produced chemical inputs for agriculture. Today the enterprise covers about 50% of the market of Pavlodar oblast and 7% of Kazakhstan market, supplying its products to all regions of the country. The representatives of the company told that in the near future they planned to start producing biochemicals for locusts and gnats.
