Teachers Will Share Experiences

We need to say that some schools in Pavlodar oblast have started the translation of the experience of “NIS”. They are: school-liceum No. 8 in Pavlodar, “Zhas Daryn” specialized school and the schools in Lebyazhye, Mai and Bayanaul districts.

– “This experience should become a property of every school, and every teacher,” Bulat Bakauov noted, – “For today our main objective is to introduce the best practices of “NIS” schooling to educational processes of all the schools in the oblast. The updated content of education following the example of “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” will increase the competitiveness of our students. As the head of the state noted, great attention should be paid to the formation of IT knowledge, financial literacy and patriotic education of the youth. We need to reduce the gap in the quality of education between urban and rural schools.”

The head of the region noted that the issues of oblast education system and its qualitative improvement have always been a priority for the akimat. That is why over the past 2 years, very serious financial investments in the education system have been made.

In her speech, the head of “NIS” AIS, Kulyash Shamshidinova noted that today the availability of information is very high. Previously children were provided with processed information, but now it is not processed. According to her, a nowadays children should be able to extract information from the outside world, get it critically, prove their conclusions, find ways of constructive solutions and offer them to people.

– “The very philosophy of education has changed,” she said. – “Today, the development of a specific person, the development of their qualities is at the forefront. The issues of education are reduced to the fact that one should not only be able to read, but understand what is happening in the surrounding world and draw conclusions for themself. The new directions that we propose are not just chemistry, physics, biology. It is an integration of the content of subjects of chemistry, physics, biology and informatics, knowledge of several languages: Kazakh, Russian, English, compulsory development of IT skills, knowledge of all programming languages. The 4th condition that we offer is the ability to carry out project works, that is, by doing something one gets new knowledge. And the 5th is the educational work, extracurricular work, which should further develop a child and the knowledge that they receive in class.”

According to the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in the sphere of improving the professional level of teachers and strive for the growth of innovative education in Pavlodar oblast.
