During the two-hour reporting meeting that took place on February 16, akim of Pavlodar oblast received 62 questions and proposals. During the enlarged meeting of the akimat, Bulat Bakauov went through each of these appeals.
– “No issue of a society should remain unanswered,” he demanded, – “It is not necessary to wait for the annual reporting meeting to know the public issues. Go to any inhabited locality, for sure there will be an issue that needs to be solved.”
One of such issues is the uninterrupted supply of medicines. During the meeting, the pensioner Tamara Ivanova has complained that she could not get free diabetic drugs. Public health Department repined at a slow mechanism of delivery of such medicines, noting at the same time that the situation with medications specifically for diabetics had already been dealt with.
– “This issue is raised every year, and it must be solved,” said the akim of Pavlodar oblast. – “The management of the health Department should quarterly hold live broadcasts on regional TV channels so that the residents of the region can ask their questions. Then this work will be under control!”
Also during the meeting, the request of residents of the village of Zhetekshy about building a new school was studied out. To date, designers can not complete the design and estimate documentation, but they promised to finish this work by July 1.
– “Three kilometers from Zhetekshy village there is a Zheleznodorozhnikov village, from which schoolchildren are taken by bus to several Pavlodar schools, ” said Bulat Bakauov. – “When the school is built in Zhetekshi, it will be more convenient for the children from the Zheleznodorozhnikov village to study there. It is necessary to solve this question.”

The head of the region stressed that he personally controlled every appeal addressed to him, and instructed his subordinates “to live” with the problems of the population.
