“Over the past six years, ERG has steered 11 billion tenge into the development of Pavlodar Oblast,” Bulat Bakauov, the head of the region, said before signing the agreement. – “As recently as last year, in Oblast Center within the framework of the signed memorandum, a dormitory of 200 dwellings for the non-ferrous metallurgy college students was built, two fight halls were reconstructed, 62 street-workout training facilities were installed in the courtyards and parks of Pavlodar and Aksu,” Bulat Bakauov said. – “Thanks to the Eurasian Group the construction of a ropeway for the mountain skiing run is being completed in Bayanaul District, and the construction of a 50-meter swimming pool is going on in Pavlodar.”

According to the newly concluded memorandum, the financeы of the Eurasian Group will be steered into the development and popularization of sports. In addition, in Pavlodar, the construction of a new ice arena will begin, and in Aksu, the reconstruction of the Central embankment will be continued. The professional football and volleyball teams of Pavlodar are on the agenda as well.

“We are parting with money and are very happy about it, although it sounds irrationally for business, generally speaking”, – the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ERG S.a.r.l Alexander Mashkevich stated. – “We are entering a new phase of relations with Pavlodar Oblast because if earlier we talked about fragmentary projects, today we not only set sights but implement the projects worthy of big and metropolitan cities. I think people see and appreciate this. For us, the main criterion is comfortable and harmonious living of people in Kazakhstan, in particular, in Pavlodar Oblast.”

Signing the document, Bulat Bakauov and Alexander Mashkevich headed to the Home for the Elderly and Disabled, where they were presented with a new building, which ERG had bought from private traders and handed over to the use of Pavlodar Oblast.
