Pavlodar Oblast Akim Met with Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan

During the meeting in the Oblast Akimat it became known that, according to the decision of the Muslim Spiritual Authority of Kazakhstan, Nariman kazhy, the main imam of Pavlodar Oblast is taking another job.

“He has been heading Mashkhur Zhusup Mosque for 7 years and today we have invited him to the post of Deputy Chief Imam of Astana,” – the Supreme Mufti of the country said. – “He will be replaced by the famous theologian Zholdas kazhy, who is a local citizen and knows the region.”

Serikbay kazhy Oraz mentions that today the task of clergy consists in active and qualitative work with representatives of religious movements. Akim of Pavlodar Oblast, in turn, has promised to provide the maximum support to representatives of the clergy.
