The meeting of the Head of the Oblast and the members of the National and Cultural Autonomy of Kazakhs was held at the Center of Tyumen-Kazakh business friendship. The Akim thanked the representatives of the Kazakh diaspora for their contribution to strengthening the friendship of the two peoples and noted the excellent results that they achieve in the development of Kazakh-Russian relations. In particular, thanks to the activity of the Tyumen Kazakhs, an air service from Tyumen to Astana was opened, the first flight on which is scheduled for June 2, 2018.

“It’s nice to realize that you have conditions for the development of the culture and language of the Kazakh people,” -Bulat Bakauov said. -“The stories of our peoples are closely intertwined, as are the destinies of our states. At the same time, our partnership is not limited only to economic interests. We actively cooperate in the cultural sphere, and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, a unique institution created on the initiative of Nursultan Nazarbayev, makes a great contribution to this issue. The Assembly is the conductor of our country in world culture. Today in Pavlodar Oblast there are 24 ethnocultural associations. All of them work under one shanyrak in the “House of Friendship”.

The Head of the region has invited the representatives of the National and Cultural Autonomy of the Kazakhs of Tyumen Oblast to “Uly Dala Eli” traditional ethnic festival in Pavlodar. In addition, the Akim of Pavlodar region said that he would be happy to see the Tyumen youth at “Birlik-Unity.kz” forum, which is held under the patronage of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
