Participation in the makeathone was attended by 50 people, among whom were students, teachers, doctors, engineers, roboteers, IT and other specialists. For 72 hours each of the teams created their prototype, which should help in solving various problems of disabled people. The inventors presented their projects at the Pavlodar State University. The Akim of Pavlodar Oblast Bulat Bakauov also participated in the final meeting.

Among the 10 presented inventions was a “smart” glove. With its help, the kinetic speech is converted into sound. Thanks to this device, anyone can understand what a person with hearing impairment tries to tell him. The inventors designed the unusual glove especially for the 36-year-old Dmitry Vilunov, who works in the oblast society of the deaf. According to the regional Department of Youth Policy, this and other prototypes will be presented to people with disabilities, for whom they were created.
