In Pavlodar Oblast IT-Centers Will Be Opened in Each City and Region

After the visit of the first Deputy Chairman of Nur Otan, Maulen Ashimbayev to Pavlodar, the strategic projects were launched in the Oblast. One of them is the opening of IT centres in each city and district.

“The optional lessons on the in-depth study of the basics of programming and robotics, teaching skills in constructing algorithms, creating programs, websites, computer games and animation will be conducted there,” – noted the Deputy Head of the Region Meiram Begentayev. – “The main effect of this project is that our students will acquire basic skills and functional skills in IT.”

In order to provide IT-classes with the necessary staff, training of specialists is planned. Teaching future coaches is planned by means of Atameken, National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.

Another big project is an electronic database of all residents of Pavlodar Oblast. To get such a database, in the region they intend to “digitize” everyone. To start in the pilot project is planned from Leninskiy, the suburban settlement and Maiskiy and Uspenka districts.

“Each akim should begin to “digitize” his settlement, starting with the smallest districts and villages,” the Head of the Region Bulat Bakauovbrought into focus. -“After all, no matter how much our Department of Coordination of Employment and Social Programs conducts surveys and street-wise rounds, we will never see a real picture, because” someone has left the house”, “someone works late”, ” for someone the sister has signed “. However, if an electronic database is created, we will get what we look towards in these days – the real updating of the status of each resident. In the future, such a database will be of service everywhere.”

Among other things, in Pavlodar Oblast, they decided to remove the issue of school meals once and for all. Instead of transferring through public procurement, school canteens are offered to be given to the owners of the private business for trust management within the framework of the public-private partnership.

“There are 364 schools in Pavlodar Oblast, practically everyone has a canteen,” – said Kanat Shabenov, the Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism. – “Their transfer within the framework of PPP will improve the quality of food, bring it into conformity with the specified standards and upgrade the equipment of canteens.”

Not only Kazakh but also Russian entrepreneurs want to feed Pavlodar schoolchildren. The interest in arrangements for feeding is shown in the “Ceiteringburg” company, which is included in the top 5 Russian catering outsourcers, has its own baby food factory and daily serves about 100 thousand people.

“The issue of school meal has been rising at the highest level for many years, so we need to work with a company that has a lot of experience in this direction,” – Bulat Bakauov said. – “This company is ready to work in our region and practically show how to arrange baby food correctly.”

As a result of the meeting, the Akim of Pavlodar Oblast instructed to conduct information and explanatory work on the selection of applicants for professional education in the training of IT specialists and make proposals for the development of standards for feeding children in school canteens with the involvement of PPP.
